Every night, Manan had a bedtime ritual—lying on his bed, gazing at the moon and stars, his imagination just beginning to stir.

One night, the moon shimmered brighter, sending a beam of light into his room. It pooled in the corner, glowing with quiet magic. Inspired, Manan jumped up and drew a ladder on the wall with his crayons. Each rung had a name: Bravery, Imagination, Patience, Hope—and each sparkled as he finished.

Then, the ladder lifted from the wall, glowing and rising into the sky. Manan placed his foot on the first rung—Bravery—and the world around him faded into starlight.

He climbed through clouds shaped like dreams. At Imagination, his drawings came alive—rockets, birds, and friendly monsters whirled around him. The stars danced, celebrating him.

Tired, he rested on Patience, the Earth glowing below. He wasn’t in a hurry. He was becoming.

Finally, he reached for Hope, glowing warmly. The last stretch was hard—dark, cold—but the Moon shone ahead. Manan kept climbing.

At last, he stepped onto the Moon. Its face appeared, kind and glowing.
Was it hard to find me? it asked.
Only a little, Manan said. But I never stopped climbing.
That’s the secret, the Moon whispered.

The stars erupted in joy. Manan stood, proud and small, wrapped in light.
He had made it.
Then, the Moon gave him a gift—a tiny star, warm and twinkling, that fit perfectly in the palm of his hand.

As Manan floated gently back to bed on a cloud shaped like a sleepy lion, the star tucked in his pocket, he smiled in his sleep.
The crayon ladder faded into moonlight… but the glow in his room never truly left.

From that night on, Manan dreamed in galaxies, drew with stardust, and always, always remembered: the sky was his to climb.
