The Sleepy Sunflower 🌻 | Stories for Kids | Moral Stories
In a
beautiful garden, there was a little sunflower named Sunny. But unlike the
other sunflowers, Sunny loved to sleep.
Every
morning, when the golden sun rose, all the sunflowers stretched their petals
wide to soak in the sunlight. But not Sunny.
“Wake up,
Sunny! The sun is here!” called Daisy, the butterfly.
“Mmm… just
a little more sleep,” Sunny mumbled, curling up tighter.
The bees
buzzed around, collecting nectar. The birds chirped happily. But Sunny stayed
sleepy, missing the bright sun.
Days
passed, and Sunny noticed something strange—he wasn’t growing as tall as his
friends. His petals weren’t as bright, and he felt weak.
One
evening, Old Grandpa Sunflower, the tallest in the garden, spoke gently,
“Sunny, my dear, the sun gives us strength. If you wake up early, you will grow
tall and strong.”
Sunny
thought about it all night. “Maybe I should try waking up early,” he whispered
to himself.
The next
morning, as the first rays of sunlight touched the garden, Sunny stretched his
little petals wide for the first time.
“Oh! This
feels wonderful!” he said, feeling the warmth of the sun. His leaves felt
fresh, his petals shone brightly, and he stood a little taller.
Day by
day, Sunny kept waking up early, and soon, he was as tall and strong as the
other sunflowers!
Now, he
was the first to greet the sun every morning, smiling brightly.
Lesson: Waking up early makes you strong
and happy!
