The Greedy Squirrel, Kids Story , Stories for Kids

Ricky the squirrel loved collecting nuts. He gathered more and more every day, filling his tree hole with food. But he never shared with anyone.

“Ricky, can we have some nuts?” asked his friends.

“No! These are mine!” Ricky said, hugging his pile of nuts.

One night, a big storm came. The strong wind shook the trees, and—whoosh!—Ricky’s nuts flew away!

The next morning, Ricky was very hungry. He had no food left. He sat under a tree, feeling sad.

Then, his friends came with nuts. “Here, Ricky. You can share our food,” they said kindly.

Ricky was surprised. “Even after I didn’t share, you are helping me?”

His friends smiled. “Because sharing makes us happy!”

Ricky smiled too. From that day, he always shared his nuts, and he felt happier than ever.
